Airport Detectives Marlon Brown (far right) and David Treaster serve passengers at Chili’s in Terminal Two as part of the week-long Special Olympics Tip-A-Cop fundraiser.
Lambert Airport police showed passengers a different side of service this week as part of the first statewide Tip-A-Cop event to benefit Special Olympics Missouri. Lambert Officers and Detectives served passengers at Chili’s, Pasta House, Mosaic and Beers of the World from July 8-13th. Nearly half of Lambert’s Officers and Detectives volunteered their time to this worthy event. Lambert passengers tip well! So far, the department has raised $6921 and they’re still counting! The funds will go to support more than 16,000 individuals with intellectual disabilities who participate in Special Olympics Missouri’s training and athletic competition.
Avoid parking fees the next time you pick up a passenger. Lambert provides free waiting zones for motorists near each terminal.
