Mr. RIP gives a dog’s welcome to Fredbird and Rampage at Lambert-St. Louis International Airport this week.
A furry connection was made this week when the St. Louis Cardinals and St. Louis Rams mascots were let loose at Lambert-St. Louis International Airport. Fredbird and Rampage got lots of passenger hugs, oohs and awes and countless selfie pics as part of the Airport’s Customer Appreciation Week. But the highlight of the visit was the on-the-floor meeting with some C.H.A.M.P Assistance dogs at the USO of Missouri in Terminal 1. Mr. RIP, a longtime fixture at the USO, decided to conduct a bird breath investigation. It was all wags after the bird and dog smootch. In addition to roaming mascots (which also included Hudson’s Hudsy the News Hound and Dunkin Donuts' Big Dunkin), the Airport celebrated the week with music, giveaways and other events in honor of our passengers and customers.
Avoid parking fees the next time you pick up a passenger. Lambert provides free waiting zones for motorists near each terminal.
