A lot of people, companies and cities are talking green these days. And that’s a great thing. Lambert-St. Louis International Airport got a chance to talk green with one of the great environmental and sustainability ambassadors in the St. Louis area this week. "Green Jean" Ponzi, with the Missouri Botanical Garden, hosts Growing Green St. Louis every Sunday on KTRS 550 AM (1-2 p.m.). Environmental & Safety Manager Joletta Golik and Fleet Maintenance Supervisor Mike Bernich (pictured above) joined Lambert Director Rhonda Hamm-Niebruegge to share the great improvements Lambert has made in areas of recycling, waste management, energy consumption, air and land quality and so much more
Avoid parking fees the next time you pick up a passenger. Lambert provides free waiting zones for motorists near each terminal.
