A Hudson employee helps stock one of the new stores in the E Concourse at Lambert-St. Louis International Airport.
Stores closed. Stores Opened. And in the hours between, there was a stocking frenzy. Friday marked the first day for Lambert’s newest lineup of retail stores. The previous operator of the Airport’s stores closed on Thursday to make way for Lambert’s new operator, a joint venture by premium retailer Hudson Group. Hudson and dozens of its employees and managers worked overnight to bring in their own merchandise so they would be ready for the first sales as soon as the concourses opened. Hudson’s new lineup of stores includes its flagship news and gift store, Hudson. In addition, Lambert will also welcome Eddie Bauer, CNN Newsstand, Spectacles, Bliss, Ebony News and more.
