The Jim Stevens Duo belted out some jazz hits for Mardi Gras Day at Lambert.
Lambert’s new stage in Terminal 1 finally got some entertainment attention with Mardi Gras Day. The first musicians to hit the stage Friday were part of the Jim Stevens Duo who played well known hits for passengers, visitors and employees. Music fans could also watch the performance from the Ticketing Lobby through the new atrium between the lower and upper levels. Mardi Gras Day featured four jazz bands for the day, both in Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. The Airport also welcomed dozens of volunteers from the Convention and Visitors Commission. They handed out Mardi Gras Beads to arriving passengers and others throughout the day.
