As of 11:30 a.m. Lambert Airlines are reporting that a total of 95 departing flights and 86 arriving flights have been cancelled for Thursday, Feb. 21 at Lambert-St. Louis International Airport. These are flights through midnight Thursday. During a typical day, Lambert has nearly 500 arriving and departing flights on 11 air carriers. The Airprt remains open. All runways are open.
Airline are de-icing aircraft for departing flights with snow and some sleet that started at Lambert after 10 a.m. this morning.
United Airlines and Air Canada is reporting that it is cancelling all arrivals and departures through Lambert after 2 p.m. Thursday. In addition, all morning departures before 8 a.m. on Friday, February 21 have also been cancelled. The airline says it is offering travel waivers for those customers affected by weather and cancellations.
