Suite Spaces: STL Photo of the Week

Posted on October 11, 2019 in Photos

Crews began to install the final wall finish at the C9 Lactation Suite this week, one of three new spaces now open for nursing mothers at STL.

Traveling moms now have a space at St. Louis Lambert International Airport for nursing or breast pumping. The Airport announced this week the opening of three new Lactation Suites in all concourses, located near gates A10, C9 and E33. The teal blue exterior suites open up to a tranquil setting inside. Each suite is ADA-compliant, featuring sinks, power outlets, spacious counters, a full-back club chair with a moveable arm table, and additional seating for those with children or other traveling companions.  During a recent test period, one traveling mom from Oklahoma shared that its “such a relief to have a place to sit with a flat surface to pump between flights. It was even better to have a sink to wash all of my pump parts.” Each suite has information at the door for users to be able to text for a door code to access the space.
