It’s a beacon for many a traveler drawn to the the bright and colorful oasis of sweets. Sweet Indulgences on the A Concourse at St. Louis Lambert International Airport lures in many with a dizzying amount of candy choices fit for any journey or taste. A three-level bulk candy lineup along an entire wall, alone, features more than 100 different candies ready for you to pull the chute or shovel into your to-go bag. “It was so appealing, I had to come in,” said shopper Marcel Friedrich, who strategically mixed and matched for our five different candies in his bag to purchase before boarding a flight back toward his home in Connecticut. That wall, with hard candy names like Sour Cherries, Fruit Runts, Banana Heads and Neon Stars, as well as jellied creations and chocolates, are the biggest sellers in the store. You can also find candy bars, lollipops, and specialty candies that are hard to find at most places these days. That makes the store a great option beyond your travel treat needs. You can also stow away even more for gifts or stocking stuffers for others.
