Passengers board a Frontier Airlines flight Friday, March 13 for Punta Cana, Dominican Republic at St. Louis Lambert International Airport.

These are uncertain times for most of us with ever changing developments of COVID-19 health concerns. Cities, communities and organizations are taking action based on latest health guidelines and to protect public health. St. Louis Lambert International Airport is following best practices and guidelines from health experts during this time. It comes at the launch of the Spring Break travel season. And while many may have cancelled travel plans, other travelers are keeping them. At STL, there were plenty of sights this week of families decked out in vacation wear - beach shirts, shorts, and hats-- headed to the gate. There was a lengthy line of passengers for Frontier Airline’s flight to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. A typical festive mood among the passengers because  vacation was underway.  One traveler heading to see her children’s grandmother said she was confident in keeping her travel plans, but said every person has to do what’s best for them.
