STL installing new LED lighting in Lindbergh Tunnel

Project requires lane closure affecting traffic
ST. LOUIS (Nov. 29, 2020): Beginning Monday, November 30, 2020, the left lane of the northbound cell of the Lindbergh Tunnel will be closed to install new LED lighting. This work will require a daily closure of the northbound left lane from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Crews will work on installing the LED lights in the tunnel cell through Thursday, December 3.
If an additional day is needed for any uncompleted or delayed work, Friday, December 4 has been selected as a contingency workday (see schedule listed below).
Each day at 9:00 a.m. safety crews will begin setting up for the lane closure. This maintenance work must be performed with the left lane of the northbound tunnel cell being closed to traffic. During this time, the tunnel’s digital message boards will relay the current closures to drivers using this specific roadway.
