There’s been quite a few types of aircraft that have landed at St. Louis Lambert International Airport over its near 100-year history. This week, there was one more for the records. Cape Air introduced its new Tecnam P2012 Traveller to St. Louis skies. Massachusetts-based
Cape Air announced it had commitments for 110 of the aircraft to replace is fleet of more than 80 Cessna 402 over the next five years. Cape Air flew the Tecnam on its first flight to STL on Wednesday from Marion, IL. The aircraft, designed and manufactured in Italy, seats nine passengers with more modern amenities than its current fleet aircraft. Cape Air operates daily flights to For Dodge, IA; Burlington, IA; Jonesboro, AR and Marion, IL. It operates up to 400 daily flights company wide, mostly across the Northeast.
