STL installing the final new LED lights in the Lindbergh Tunnel

The project will be completed with this final lane closure

ST. LOUIS (March 5, 2021): St. Louis Lambert International Airport is continuing the installation of new LED lighting in the Lindbergh Tunnel beginning Monday, March 8. The weeklong project requires consecutive daily closures of the right lanes of the southbound cell each day until 2:30 p.m.

 Safety crews will begin setting up for the lane closure each morning at 9 a.m. During this time, the tunnel’s digital message boards will relay the current closure to drivers using the Lindbergh Tunnel.

 If an additional day is needed for any uncompleted or delayed work, Friday, March 12, has been selected as a contingency workday (see schedule below).
