“Reaching out via social media is a great option while in-person job fairs are still on-hold.  Our recruitment team enjoys the one-on-one engagement with prospective employees at career events.  We are looking forward to getting back to live events to share our career opportunities,” says STL’s Manager of Human Resources Sharon Stone.

The City of St. Louis Department of Personnel established both a Recruitment Incentive Program and a Hiring Incentive Program to encourage current employees to recruit friends and family to work for the City and to promote applications.  Eleven (11) airport job classifications are eligible for a $1,500.00 hiring incentive bonus, paid out after a new employee passes his/her working test period.  Airfield Maintenance Worker is one of the classifications eligible for the bonus.  These employees maintain and repair airport runways, ramps, taxiways and grounds.

Airport employees are part of the City of St. Louis civil service work force. Go to the City of St. Louis “Work for the City” link at for more information and links to individual job postings.   STL also has numerous airline and concessionaire partners seeking to fill open positions.  The TSA, restaurants, contractors and other vendor job opening information can be found at:
