The Captain’s Final Flight

Final Flight: This past week found Captain Achim Bergmann making his final flight as a pilot for Lufthansa Airlines. The trip was STL’s flight from St. Louis to Frankfurt. He retires after a 32-year career with the airline. We found Captain Bergmann just before boarding placing a “welcome on board” message for his passengers on the Airbus A330-300 doorway. Captain Bergmann, we wish you well in your retirement.
