Two Members of STL’s Workforce Named Hospitality Super Heroes by Explore St. Louis
Laura Futrell and Rodney Holifield are 2023 Super Heroes
ST. LOUIS, MO (September 14, 2023): Laura Futrell and Rodney Holifield were named Explore St. Louis Hospitality Super Heroes today during Explore St. Louis’ Annual Meeting and Awards Presentation event. This is the third year in a row that St. Louis Lambert International Airport (STL) has had at least one superhero honoree.
Ms. Futrell works for STL in the airport’s administrative offices, while Rodney Holifield is a member of the staff of STL Partner G2. Both received their awards for their outstanding customer service as reported by an airport passenger or customer. They were two of sixteen individuals representing seven organizations honored as Superheroes.
Another 195 individuals were acknowledge as Hospitality Heroes by Explore St. Louis at the same event. The STL community had a total of seventeen individuals mentioned this year in this specific group. They include:

- Larry Brown/Pearletta Evans/Karen Taylor – Hudson & Associates
- Ronald Macon – Huntleigh USA
- Aliyah Alexander/Dana George/Hosea Jackson – Southwest Airlines
- Vanessa Jones/Roger Lotz – St. Louis Lambert International Airport
- Sharon Tripp – Super Park
- Lynda Clements/Daniel Duncan/Ismael Rosada/Marlene Srouji – United Airlines
