Memories of Past Galas: Next week, we celebrate our tenth Art of Travel Gala at STL.

It might seem insignificant to have a photo of Friday’s (9/30/2022) Southwest Flight 2072 to Tampa as this week’s STL Photo of the Week. However, this was the first flight to depart STL to Tampa since Hurricane Ian struck the western coast of Florida earlier this week. Our hearts go out to all who were in the path of that severe storm.

For some reason Johnny Cash’s “Folsom Prison Blues” came to mind seeing this photo.

On Wednesday, the STL Fire Department honored a very special Southwest Airlines pilot with a water cannon salute.

Crews continue to work on a new entrance into the T2 parking garage as they prepare to pour concrete to form the outer wall.
