Earlier this week, Caption Shannan Hill, First Officer Beverly Terry, and Flight Attendants Laura Butler, Cheryl Lapsley, Anthony Eskander, and Melinda McGraw helped officially launch the new nonstop flights between St. Louis and Portland, Oregon.

Airport Director Rhonda Hamm-Niebruegge spoke with members of the Global Business Travel Association – GBTA during their annual airport meeting at STL, highlighting the momentum, partnerships, and opportunities shaping travel in our region.

The sun lines up perfectly with the STL control tower, turning it into something like a beacon for arriving flights.

British Airways’ inaugural flight into STL, known by the callsign “Speedbird”, touched down 12 minutes early, right as the sky decided to show off a little.

At 5 years old, this German Shorthaired Pointer is the newest addition to STL’s Airport Police K-9 Unit and is currently in training. Keep an eye out for him this spring as he works hard toward certification.

A few years ago, Levi Brunk appeared in an STL ad for The Magic House when he was just three years old. Fast forward to recently, when Levi visited the airport again at age five to recreate the moment in front of the very same display.

It’s safe to say he’s grown just a little… but the magic is still there!
