James Peck of Oklahoma City was one of the first passengers to use CLEAR at St. Louis Lambert International Airport on February 24, 2020.
The CLEAR debut was a successful debut at St. Louis Lambert International Airport (STL) this week. CLEAR opened for operations at both checkpoints in Terminal 2 on February 24.
CLEAR is travel security program that expedites the checkpoint security process using biometrics -your eyes and fingertips-to confirm your identity. In most cases, passengers can navigate their way quicker through the queue. CLEAR ambassadors personally assit you through to the TSA ID Check stand, where you continue on through the security process. STL is 33rd airport in the CLEAR system. On opening day, there were many CLEAR members already waiting to enter the special queue lanes when they opened up at 10 a.m. CLEAR says they already have five million members who use the service at airports and multiple sports stadiums around the country. CLEAR will be phased in at Terminal 1 checkpoints for the A and C Concourses over the next two weeks.
