STL continues installation of new LED lighting in Lindbergh Tunnel

Project requires lane closure affecting traffic
ST. LOUIS (Jan. 15, 2021): St. Louis Lambert International Airport will continue installing new LED lighting in the Lindbergh Tunnel on Tuesday, January 19. The project now moves into the southbound cell of the tunnel. The weeklong project requires the left lane to be closed each day until 2:30 p.m.
Safety crews will begin setting up for the lane closure each morning at 9 a.m. During this time, the tunnel’s digital message boards will relay the current closure to drivers using Lindbergh.
Due to Monday’s observance of the Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday, work on this project will begin Tuesday and will run through Friday.

Thursday Jan. 21 Southbound Cell Left Lane Closed
