Hollins will spend part of his initial tenure with SLDC assisting in the finance department at St. Louis Lambert International Airport while the leadership identifies a candidate for Chief Financial Officer there.
“We are grateful for the partnership with Stephen Westbrooks and SLDC to allow Gerard to step in and support the airport at a critical time in our history,” said STL Airport Director Rhonda Hamm-Niebruegge. “This type of collaboration is what makes St. Louis strong!”
“We know Gerard is incredibly knowledgeable when it comes to the St. Louis region and we plan to tap into that expertise in more ways than one,” said Mayor Cara Spencer. “While we are confident, he will have an incredible impact at SLDC, we also know he gained valuable familiarity with our airport operations while at the Board of Aldermen and will be a great support there as we navigate significant transition. This is a great collaboration between SLDC and the airport, a recognition of how critical a role our airport plays in economic development and an overall win for St. Louis.”
At SLDC, Hollins will serve as the EVP of Development. Hollins will be responsible for building and managing the City of St. Louis’ development pipeline, spanning real estate projects, developers, new business attraction and business retention.
