British Airways Expands St. Louis-London Service to Daily Flights for Summer 2027

Additional frequency strengthens international access and creates new opportunities to grow visitor spending and economic impact throughout the St. Louis region

ST. LOUIS, MO, September 22, 2026 – Explore St. Louis today welcomed British Airways’ announcement that it will expand its seasonal nonstop service between St. Louis Lambert International Airport (STL) and London Heathrow Airport (LHR) to seven flights per week for four months of Summer 2027 season.

The expanded schedule represents an 80 percent increase in total seats, compared to summer 2026, with more than 35,400 seats added between St. Louis and London next summer. The route launched April 19, 2026 with four flights per week. British Airways is the only U.K. airline offering nonstop service between St. Louis and London, providing direct access to the British capital as well as connections through Heathrow to destinations across Europe and around the world. The airline will operate an increased schedule of five flights per week from March 28, 2027, before further increasing to daily service between April 19 and June 28 and again between September 6 and October 30. The route will be served by British Airways’ Boeing 787 fleet.

The additional frequency creates greater flexibility for international leisure travelers, tour operators and meeting planners while increasing the St. Louis region’s capacity to welcome travelers from the U.K. and other international markets. For St. Louis-area travelers, it provides another option for reaching London and connecting through British Airways’ global network.
