A United Airlines Boeing 737-900 sporting a special livery lands at STL in the dark, the plane illuminated by the wing light and the lights on the runway.

Eco-skies: This past Sunday, this United Airlines Boeing 737-900 sporting a special livery landed at STL. The eco-skies aircraft promotes the airline’s initiative to operate passenger aircraft using 100% sustainable aviation fuel.

It was also a special flight for its First Officer, St. Louis native Cecilia Ernst. “It was sentimental landing a flight in my hometown. And it was fun being able to sleep in my apartment, the place I call home on my overnight,” said Ernst.
