STL Recognizes Those Committed To A Safe Workplace
On Tuesday, December 9, Saint Louis Lambert International Airport’s Director, Rhonda Hamm-Neibruegge, presented the 2025 Safety Recognition Awards. The recipients were honored for their outstanding commitment to workplace safety and operational excellence.

STL’s Airport Director Honored
On Thursday, November 6, as the St. Louis Airport Interfaith Chaplaincy celebrated its 40th anniversary, the organization also recognized the leadership and support of STL’s Airport Director and CEO Rhonda Hamm-Niebruegge.

STL’s Hospitality Heroes Honored
On Wednesday, September 17, Explore St. Louis held its Annual Meeting and Hospitality Hero Recognition Luncheon at America Center in downtown St. Louis. Explore St. Louis’ Hospitality Hero Recognition Program is designed to stimulate and reward exceptional service by hospitality industry employees. Of the over 150 Hospitality Heroes honored this year, seven worked at St. Louis Lambert International Airport (STL). Three more STL employees were named Super Heroes by Explore St. Louis. Super Heroes are those in the St. Louis hospitality industry that go above and beyond — handling the unexpected or creating a special moment for a visitor to St. Louis. This year there were a total of seven Hospitality Super Heroes.

Celebrating New Delta Air Lines Service to JFK…
On Monday, September 8, St. Louis Lambert International Airport (STL) celebrated Delta Air Lines new non-stop service from St. Louis Lambert International Airport (STL) to John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK). This direct service to JFK enables passengers to use AirTrain JFK as a fast and easy way into Manhattan. It also offers international travelers a range of airline options. The inaugural flight gave our staff a great excuse to enjoy a celebratory cake with a number of the Delta passengers.

Wishing a Member of the STL Staff a Fond Farewell…
St. Louis Lambert International Airport (STL) bid a fond farewell to Joyce Deal on Thursday, July 31. Ms. Deal retired after 30 years at STL. She worked in the Finance and Accounting Department. The airport will definitely miss her and all the amazing contributions she made. We wish her the best as she begins a new chapter in her life.

STL Champions the Future of Airport Innovation with Runway to Success
St. Louis Lambert International Airport (STL) served as the launch site for one of the most transformative supplier development platforms in the country—Runway to Success—a national initiative created by the Airport Minority Advisory Council (AMAC) to empower diverse business enterprises and increase access to opportunities in U.S. airports’ ecosystem. Airport Minority Advisory Council (AMAC) is the only national, non-profit trade association dedicated to advancing the full participation of minorities and women in employment and contracting opportunities throughout the aviation and aerospace industries.

STL’s Total Number of Passengers In 2024 Is Largest in More Than 20 Years
In 2024, 15,946,730 passengers moved through St. Louis Lambert International Airport (STL). This is the highest number of travelers passing through STL since 2003 when just under 20.5 million passengers flew through the airport. The 2024 total passenger number is also 7.1 percent higher than in 2023, when 14,886,000 traveled through STL.
