Entrenched deep within the very beginnings of aviation,
St. Louis Lambert International Airport is widely considered to be one of the most historic airports in the United States. Named for Albert Bond Lambert, who learned to fly with the Wright Brothers, St. Louis Lambert International Airport was essential in bringing together the United States and beyond through modern air travel.
Today, as we approach our 100th anniversary, we continue to fulfill the vision of Albert Bond Lambert, meeting the challenges of modern air travel and the aviation industry for an always-changing world.

Art Of Travel Gala
2025 Art of Travel: Bidding Adieu to B
Art of Travel is St. Louis Lambert International Airport’s signature gala — an evening dedicated to celebrating art, culture, and community. Each year, the event honors the role of creative expression in shaping the STL experience and supports the exhibitions that welcome millions of travelers to our region.
This year, we’re saying a fond farewell to Concourse B, the longtime home of our event. With a nostalgic nod to the golden age of air travel, Art of Travel: Bidding Adieu to B invites guests to toast to the past, celebrate the present, and look ahead to what’s next for STL.
Join us October 16, 2025, from 6–9 p.m. in the Aero Event Space for a night of vintage-inspired fare, craft cocktails, live music, and more — all in support of the Lambert Art & Culture Program.
