Photo of the Week: October 9, 2026
HELLO, Iceland!
This week, the airport and its regional partners gathered to celebrate the announcement that Icelandair is coming to St. Louis, with nonstop service between STL and Keflavik International Airport (KEF) beginning in May, 2027.
Flights will operate up to four times a week through October, giving St. Louis travelers a direct path to Iceland and connections to more than 35 destinations across Europe. And through Icelandair’s expanding partnership with Southwest Airlines, the new route will also create even more opportunities for travelers across North America, Iceland, Europe, and beyond to connect through STL.
It’s another exciting step forward for our airport and another sign of the momentum behind St. Louis as an international gateway.
