Will operate Saturdays from December until April

ST. LOUIS (August 31, 2020): American Airlines has announced it will begin seasonal service from St. Louis Lambert International Airport (STL) to Cancun International Airport (CUN) beginning December 19, 2020 through April 3, 2021.

The airline will operate Saturday departures from STL to CUN at approximately 9:20 a.m. and return flights from CUN will land at STL at approximately 4:44 p.m. American Airlines ticketing operations are in Terminal 1.

“We’re excited American Airlines has added seasonal service to Cancun,” said Rhonda Hamm-Niebruegge, STL Director. “Cancun is an important leisure destination for many St. Louis travelers, and American Airlines continues to recognize the strength of our region with added service and competitive fares.”

American Airlines serves nine destinations, currently five due to COVID-19, from STL. American has nearly a 15 percent market share of enplaned passengers at STL.
