Contour Airlines announced it will expand at St. Louis Lambert International Airport (STL) with new daily flights to Indianapolis International Airport (IND) beginning June 10.
The Smyrna, TN-based airline will operate twice daily departures from STL to IND at approximately 8:15 a.m. and 4 p.m. Return flights from IND will land at STL at approximately 9:20 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Contour currently operates Essential Air Service (EAS) flights between STL and Fort Leonard Wood (FLW). Contour Airlines ticketing operations are in Terminal 1 and it uses Gate C27.
“This is another city that we are excited to bring back as a non-stop destination for our region because of the demand from our travelers and our business community,” said Rhonda Hamm-Niebruegge, STL Director. “The twice daily flights will make it even more convenient for short business trips, or even connections with the Contour’s added destinations.”
Contour also announced other new routes from IND to both Pittsburgh (PIT) and Nashville (BNA).
“We are thrilled to expand our presence in St. Louis with this new route to Indianapolis,” said Matt Chaifetz, Chief Executive Officer of Contour. “Our quick one hour flights will the restore the productivity that travelers lose on long drives and make it comfortable and affordable to travel between these two great cities.”
Contour will fly Embraer regional jets with 30 seats.
To celebrate the launch of the new routes, Contour is offering an introductory fare for the new STL flights of just $99 each way at contourairlines.com.
STL is served by 11 airlines operating a peak 270 daily departures to more than 70 destinations. The Airport just announced it served nearly 15.9 million passengers in 2019.
