BADGING OFFICE INFORMATION

SIDA Class Details

Tuesday morning SIDA Class check-in begins at 8:00 a.m.  SIDA Class is held 8:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m.  Tuesday afternoon SIDA Class check-in begins at 12:00 p.m.  SIDA Class is held 12:30-4:00 p.m. The Badging and Fingerprinting Office does not close from 12:00-1:00 p.m. for lunch on Tuesdays so you may come check-in for your SIDA Class. 

Advance reservations in SIDA Class must be made; walk-in students are not accepted.

Please do not show up at the Badging Office without a scheduled SIDA Class reservation. Reservations must be made by noon on the Monday prior to the SIDA Class. There will be absolutely no same day sign ups. Please call the Badging Office at (314) 890-1804 to make your reservation after your badge approval has been received by your employer or sponsoring Authorized Signatory.

Bring all these items when you come to check in for your SIDA Class:

  • Your two or more valid government-issued identification documents (your driver’s license is one of your required IDs if you will be driving inside the fence line perimeter at STL).
  • Black or blue pen to take class notes and for the test.
  • Non-alcoholic beverage if you would like one to drink during class. Please note there is no food allowed in the class.
  • Payment for your badge if your company is not invoiced for your badge fees ($45 cash or company check payable to “City of St. Louis Treasurer”).
  • Jacket or sweater because the classrooms are usually very cold and we cannot change the thermostats.

If you are signing yourself up, please list your email address in both locations as it is required information. You will receive only one follow up email.
Please remind your employee that they must bring with them a state issued photo ID, passport, or passport card. Please have with them a pen that is blue or black. Drinks are acceptable but there is no food allowed in the classroom. If you have any additional questions about SIDA class sign up, please call Jordan at 314-890-1804.
