Night Sky: A peaceful and quiet night at St. Louis Lambert International Airport just hours before the busy day begins.

Spring Has Sprung: No snow. Days are warmer. The grass is getting greener. The trees are blossoming, and passenger traffic is returning to the airport. March had the most passengers go through TSA checkpoints since February 2020. 

Family Legacy: Dream Beyond the Clouds was commissioned by the Lambert Art and Culture Program to celebrate the life and legacy of airport founder Major Albert Bond Lambert and to mark the 100th anniversary of STL.

First Tile: This week workers started laying custom fabricated porcelain tiles for a major art project being installed near the C Concourse.

We’ve Got Spirit: “St. Louis was a natural addition for us. It’s the largest city in the United States that Spirit doesn’t currently serve… As we look at cities with similar characteristics to St. Louis, they’ve been rebounding quickly, making us confident that now is the right time to start serving the Gateway to the West.”

Have Blues, Will Travel: This new art exhibit at STL by the National Blues Museum encapsulates Black Blues musicians struggle while traveling during the Jim Crow Era.

Winter Storm: This week a winter storm dropped approximately 6” inches of snow, the blowing drifting kind, and then more a couple of days later. Our crews have been working hard to keep our main runways, taxiways and airport roadways in great shape.
